Jawa 750 Coupe ( 1935 )
Jawa 750 Coupe ( 1935 )
Forgotten
Winner
In
1933, the long-distance race known as the 1000 miles of Czechoslovakia
was organized for the first time. After a very short time, it
gained a reputation of an exhausting but also prestigious race.
The Czech manufacturer JAWA, which was only founded in 1929, saw
a high advertising value by participating, and in 1935 the company
was planning to take part with its own cars in the competition.
Because of the participation of several of the same cars, the
plant was hoping for a higher popularity. This plan was consequently
pursued, and with strong pressure, six new small cars were put
assembled – three convertibles and three roadsters. Right
at the start of the marathon race in 1935, they were waiting at
the starting line. How perfect the light, agile and small racing
cars were, and this showed as they drove to victory in their participating
class. This type of car, which was equipped with a 750-engine
and 26 hp, would be interesting for many auto-enthusiasts.
However, the car never entered the series production at JAWA,
and was discontinued after the journey 1000 miles of Czechoslovakia
and the JAWA 750 disappeared. Only one example of the JAWA survived
until today, and it shows a high technical engagement of the former
JAWA-engineers

Jawa 750 Coupe ( 1935 )
Il
vincitore dimenticato Nel
L’obiettivo fu, quindi, dedicarsi a 6 nuove auto: 3 convertible
ingegneristico.
